I wanted to try something a little different & as I don't usually use sponges in any of my paintings, this took me out of my comfort zone.
I did a small painting inspired by my recent trip to Tasmania....we have no maintains in Western Australia & the distant Mountains against rugged terrain was quite striking. I used sponges wet on wet for most of the Painting except for the splashes of Red & gold & the three little birds flying through the painting.
I hope this is a suitable painting & format for the challenge.
