This is a project I've been looking forward to for a long time - a pure watercolor painting on a canvas.
The canvas was primed with SCHMINCKE AQUA PRIME FINE several times.
Thereafter, I painted the motif with AQUAFIX so that the colors blend stably with the ground.
It is very important for each new color to dip the brush after these steps: WATER - COLOR - AQUAFIX.
The finished, dry image was finally protected with SCHIMNCKE FIXATIVE for WATERCOLORS.
