Lorraine Brown - Week #5

Blue is a favourite colour of mine and looking at my finished work it features strongly in more than 80%. Going through my tubes I found a blue that I had ample supply of but had not used in a very long time, Winsor & Newton Antwerp Blue. I combined it with two all time favourites Permanent Rose and Burnt Sienna to get a perfect combination to paint Australian Gum leaves and Gum nuts.

Colours able to produce earthy mood

The transparency of my choice of colours made them perfect to use for a multi layered work of negative painting.
