Drawing gum takes practice. I hated working with it when I first started. Somehow it always came out in big blobs and looked messy.
I thought it was time to revisit an old theme that was painstaking and tortured last time I tried it.
The intention was to make the cobweb really fine. First challenge is to be able to see where these fine lines are drawn - not always easy.
Second one is to be spontaneous and free with the lines. Spider webs, particularly when they have been in use for a while, are seldom perfectly formed.
First wash: Daniel Smith Green Gold, Winsor & Newton Sap Green, Winsor and Newton Olive Green, FUB, Winsor Violet, Opera Rose.
