Lori Bentley Week #28

Now that we are two weeks beyond our halfway mark - I am having a little panic about how relentlessly the year is moving on... seems like each Thursday (my self-imposed blog posting day) whizzes around faster than I can blink!

Here is another subject challenge from the facebook page "Paint colourful birds for fun": the Crested Coua.

This bird has soft colours on the body and then the startlingly intense colour around the eye.

The wash challenge here was to get a soft grey,

I used Cobalt Violet Light and Terre Vert.
