Being in nice warm Florida this week, there were lots of beautiful orchids to try. Here I dabbed at the centers with Cad yellow pale, Alizarin crimson, and Winsor violet. A very pale wash of yellow in the background. All Winsor Newton colors on Bockingford 140# paper
Then just outlined around a few petals with a light wash of ultramarine above, and Quin gold and Prussian blue for the green. Used more cad yellow in the center flower to pop it up.
