Lorraine Brown - Week #15

Choosing a palette to depict the hot red centre of Australia, I wanted red earth, red rocks all suitable territory for a trio of Emu, a subject I like to paint frequently and change it up with different colour depending on their location.

My choices are: French Ultra Marine Blue, Burnt Sienna, Winsor Red and Quinacridone gold.
Tested clingfilm for rock formations, scraping for rock texture, mixing darks for emu feathers.
