Lori Bentley Week #23

Going back to the sponging challenge we did in January, I thought it would be fun to try and create a coral reef.

I used the immersion technique to completely wet the paper. The background was washed in Antwerp blue.

Sponged in Quinacridone Magenta, Diox. Violet, Prussian blue and Perylene Maroon for the reef.

When dry, added in little fish in the same colours before adding Prussian blue shadows on the left and bottom to anchor the reef.
