Lorraine Brown - Week #25

I have painted my "Little Gem" potted Magnolia trees often as they are generous bloomers. I like to try and make works of the same subject as different as I can so colour choice can provide this.

Here I tested colour combinations, granulation when mixed, lifting ability 

1. Winsor and Newton Indigo with Winsor & Newton Quinacridone Gold
2. Winsor and Newton Indigo with Daniel Smith Bloodstone Genuine
3. Winsor and Newton Quinacridone Gold with Daniel Smith Perylene Maroon
4. Daniel Smith Perylene Maroon with Daniel Smith Bloodstone Genuine
5. Winsor and Newton Quinacridone Gold with Daniel Smith Bloodstone Genuine

Resulting in a very useful palette for my Magnolia trees
