Lorraine Brown - Week #33

I have a variety of rubber stamps, text and shapes and these can be used onto a background wash when its dry by either using ink or more interesting watercolour. By using the stamps with colours already incorporated in your subject they will look like they belong and not a stamped on after thought. Use a flat brush to glide your watercolour paint over the stamp, sometimes the second or third stamp is more desirable than the first very wet print. You can pick up a variety of colour from your palette so the stamping with have lots of colour interest
