This is a project I'm looking forward since a long time - a pure watercolor painting on a canvas.
The canvas was primed with SCHMINCKE AQUA PRIME FINE by for several times.
Thereafter, I painted the motive with the aid of AQUAFIX so that the colors combine stable with the ground.
It is very important for each new color to dip the brush after these steps: WATER - COLOR - AQUAFIX.
The finished and dry image was finally protected with SCHIMNCKE FIXATIVE for WATERCOLORS.
